Summary

Vestibular migraines are complex conditions that manifest with a variety of symptoms from general lightheadedness to severe vertigo, nausea and imbalance. These symptoms can result in significant functional impairments and disabilities and can make developing an effective treatment plan difficult. It takes a comprehensive approach to education and treatment in order to successfully identify triggers and manage symptoms. This course is designed to explore the complexities of evaluating and treating patients with vestibular migraines. You will learn about diagnostic criteria, differential diagnoses, important examination components and effective management techniques. You will be provided with information on educating your patient and assisting them in self-management of their condition. You will have opportunity to examine the literature supporting these recommendations and learn from case study applications.
